What are the guidelines for photography?

A.

Photography is allowed anywhere on our property.  Please seek permission from area land owners prior to the event if you would like to take pictures elsewhere.  Something Blue reserves the right to use any photos of the property or barn for promotional purposes.

Are pets allowed?

A.

Pets are not allowed with the exception of guide dogs for those requiring assistance

What are the clean-up guidelines?

A.

Renters and/or their caterers must undress tables and collect and bag all trash including bottles, cans and paper items and place them in provided trash containers at the conclusion of the event.  Something Blue will be responsible for trash disposal and general janitorial services.

Is smoking allowed?

A.

Yes – outside of the barn with proper disposal of smoking materials

Will there be Something Blue staff onsite during our event?

A.

Yes – We will remain on the property to assist with your day.  Parking attendants will be utilized at the beginning of your event.

Is there a dressing room for the wedding party?

A.

Yes – our farmhouse will be available for the bride and her party. Our carriage house is set aside for the groom and his party.

How late can we stay?

A.

Township rules allow music to be played until 11 pm.  Clean up needs to be completed by midnight.

How many guest can your venue hold:

225 guests including wedding party

Are there additional costs for the ceremony:

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

Yes – we only require you to use a licensed bartender to serve

Can I make my own food?

A.

Our catering station allows you to keep your food warm in our oven or cold in the fridge.  Food cannot be prepared on site with the exception of grilling with approval.  You may choose your own caterer.

Do you have bathrooms:

A.

We provide 3 portable toilet units with one being handicap accessible.  We have information available if you would like to rent a portable restroom trailer.  We have ample room, water and electricity for these.

Can we have our rehearsal on the property?

A.

Yes – with approval of schedule you will have 1.5 hours for rehearsal

Do you have preferred vendors?

A.

Yes – you are free to choose your own vendors but we are happy to recommend our favorites
